Hello readers! Yes, after a long pause, I'm back again. I wish this could be a happier post, but I am currently in a haze as I just lost a good friend in a motorcycle accident yesterday.
She was an amazing person, and though I only knew her for half a year, she made me feel like I was apart of something good. She was one of us, and she will be forever missed.
It's still so shocking when I think that I'll never see her again. I'm here at work, but my mind is somewhere else. I keep re-living our conversations, our times together, plans we made for the future, and how much fun we always had.
Last night, we all met up at one of our favorite spots to be together in our time of tragedy. After a few drinks and some good bonding time, we had a very nice candle light vigil honoring her life. It was beautiful and so touching to see how many lives this wonderful girl brought together. So heart-warming to see everyone pull together to make sure her son, who is the same age as B, is taken care of. She worked so hard to make sure her son would have a better life, and it's so unfair that her life was taken too soon.
But, then I think that she's in heaven watching over all of us. Something she always did while she was still with us. One of the best people I've come to know. I'll miss her always ....
There have been some other news in my life, good news, actually. But, I'll save that for another post.
Later readers ....
