Hate to break it to ya ....

But ... your boyfriend's gay.

Have you ever had a friend or acquaintance that's chosen a mate that is ALL wrong for them? You want so badly to point out to them that his flamboyant ways may suggest he's just not that into you.

You're just his beard. Seriously!

I know, I know. I'm wrong and just don't know him or who he is behind closed doors. May as well go as far as saying behind that "closed" closet door, because honey, the real him is hiding inside! And, personally, I find it a little hilarious that you can't see it for yourself. Ya might as well jump in that closet with him cause you're both in denial. So, stock up on that expensive chocolate and $5 bottles of wine because when he leaves you for another man, it's gonna hit you hard!

There ... I said it. Now, every time I see a post from this person, I can just scroll by and chuckle. It's not the fact that he's gay, it's the fact she can't see it. Makes me laugh. Every post seems like she's trying just a bit too hard to convince everyone that they're happy in love.

I don't see it. It could be that a bunch of my friends are pairing off ... and I'm still dealing with douches and asshats. But, if she's happy in her ignorant bliss, let it be. I'm still gonna laugh ....

Weekend Post

Hello readers! I am back with the weekend post ....

It was a pretty good one ... one where I actually went out! It HAS been a while, but I'm glad to have had the chance to go out and have a good time.

I went out with one of my readers. Yeah, I know it sounds funny, but I've known this guy for almost two years. So, it wasn't like I was going out with a total stranger. He's new to my blog and very enthusiastic about reading what's going on in my mind. Yay! One more for my audience!

So, we started the night trying to get a drink at DnB's but after checking out every one of their over-crowded bars, we decided to check out Bucca's downstairs. The dinner rush had passed, so there was room at their bar. We had a light dinner with a few beers to go with it. After that, we headed back upstairs for a late showing of Warm Bodies. Very good movie with a great soundtrack!

I tried to hook us up with some of the moto krew, but they were scattered, and I didn't want to stray into Waikiki. So, we went next door to REAL, a gastropub for a few drinks and some really good conversation.

It was a great night and I had a blast. He did too!

Saturday, B, Mom & I packed up the car for an afternoon out. First, it was to the doctor for B's annual check up and flu shot (yeah, it's late in the season, but I think it's better late than never!). She did great, and is growing up healthy and strong ... which really is all I could ask for. We then headed to McD's for lunch, and then to the Birthday Expo where Dad was managing the show. Got a lot of great ideas for B's 6th birthday this year!

After all that, B and I came home to relax. And, that's pretty much all I did the rest of the weekend. And, of course, I enjoyed the mid-season 3 premiere of The Walking Dead. Can't wait for next week's episode!

But, it is Monday and, as always, it got off to a slow start. Work as usual, but I can't help but have all these other things on my mind. Such as, plans for B's party, their munchkin day out that I'm planning for March, and pretty much consumed with all things kids. I am tired ... so ready to go home and reeeelaaax!

Much needed break

Hello again, readers! It's been a few weeks since my last post, and I apologize for such a gap in your entertainment. Haha ...

Lately, I've been keeping things very low key and spending a lot of time with B. Not to mention my car is on an indefinite hiatus because of a possible engine problem. Just great. But, I'm not letting that get me down! I still have my little B and we've been busy planning play dates with her friends and munchkin outings. The first of these outings will be to the Children's Discovery Center since she and I have never been. We're planning to make half a day of it learning, playing and then ending with a fun lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Can't wait!

In other news, I have been taking a break from dating and it's been wonderful. I'm not hanging out with anyone, either. Just the thought of not getting my hopes up for something that is probably wrong for me has been a breath of fresh air. Though, I do still talk with some guys that I've become friends with, there haven't been any hangouts of any significance. Other than just spending my weekends with B and the family. M included.

There is one guy, that I have to say has been a real nuisance for a while. Dude just won't take no for an answer. I'm talking about Douche who has appeared in a few of my posts since August. He keeps insisting that I want him and hounds me to hang out late nights. While he IS hot, he knows it and this guy only wants one thing. I just wish he'd find it somewhere else. There's only so much I can take before I completely block his number.

So, after about the tenth time, he's finally agreed to leave me alone. We'll see how long that lasts.

And, ironically, I've been thinking about New M. Remember that guy? Well, he's been sober for a few months now, and we've been in touch again. Just friends .... nothing more. I like that idea. He's a nice guy and I really did enjoy his company. There could be a friendship .... at least, I'm open to having one with a sober-him. And, I say ironic because at the time, Douche bag was trying to win me over New M. And, he still is ... so sad.

Anyway, my work day is coming to a close, but I had to post before I went home to start my night.

Love to my readers .... xoxo
